Frequently Asked Questions

Below, please find some of the questions we hear the most, as well as the answers. If you need additional information or have more questions, please feel free to call us at 509-658-2926. Thank you!

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we welcome your pets, provided that they are on a leash at all times. Our park is home to several sweet little bunnies, and chasing them is strictly forbidden. If your pet is seen chasing the bunnies, you will be asked to immediately remove your pet. If you are staying in a motel room or cabin, please be advised that there is a $10 per night fee to have your pet stay in the room with you. For the comfort and safety of every guest, we will ask you to remove your dog if any of the following behavior is observed: excessive barking and/or growling, aggressiveness, or general unpleasantness.

When does the pool open?

Our pool is generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. The pool is now OPEN for the 2010 season! The pool opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. seven days a week, and there is no lifeguard on duty. Children ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or over at all times while in the pool area. For your comfort, the pool is heated on cool days. Due to the large volume of guests in the summer, we are unable to provide pool towels (please don't use the ones from the rooms at the pool). If you forget to bring a beach towel, we always have them available for sale in the store.

Do you have cable?

We no longer provide cable television anywhere at the resort, as our cable provider decided to remove their services from our area. For your entertainment, each cabin and motel room has a television and a DVD player, and our store offers a selection of primarily family-oriented DVDs for rent for $3 a day. For our guests staying in RVs, you are of course welcome to bring your own satellite dish, and our store has a limited number of DVD players available for nightly rental.

Is there good hunting in the area?
Yes, the Little Naches area is famous for hunting! For guided hunts, we are proud to recommend Rugged Class Outfitters and Guide Service as the premier guide service in Eastern Washington. They offer hunts for elk, sheep and goats, and information is available year-round at www.ruggedclassoutfitters.com

Can I smoke in my motel room and/or cabin?

Please, for your health and the health of every other guest, observe the no-smoking rule in the cabins and motel rooms. If you break this rule, we will be forced to charge you a $200 cleaning and deodorizing charge.

We heard that you have bunnies! Can we play with them?

Yes, there are several sweet little bunnies that make their home at the resort, and you are more than welcome to pet them and feed them appropriate snacks. However, since they are still wild animals, we ask that you do not chase them or pick them up. Also, any chasing of the bunnies (by pets, kids, or anyone else) is strictly forbidden! This is for the safety of our guests as well as the bunnies.

Do you have barbecues and fire pits?

There are fire pits accessible from most of the sites and rooms, and we have one quite large charcoal grill available for groups on a first-come first-served basis. When you use the fire pits, the only things you are allowed to burn are wood, charcoal, and fire starter. Placing plastic, food, glass, cans, or anything else in the fire pits can cause a hazard to you and to others- please place your garbage in the garbage cans.

What are the kitchen facilities like in your motel rooms and cabins?

Each motel room is outfitted with a coffee maker, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Cabins have coffee makers, mini fridges, microwaves, cooktops, and several also include ovens. Each cabin has a limited amount of kitchenware and very basic cooking utensils, as well as service for a few people. If you are planning on serving a large number of people or will need specialized cooking equipment (such as cake pans, strainers, serving dishes, spaghetti servers, etc), we advise that you bring the necessary supplies with you.

What is your cancellation policy?

At the time you make your reservation, you will be charged for the first night of your stay. For tent and RV spaces: If you cancel any time prior to 48 hours before 3:00 p.m. on the day of your reservation, you will receive your deposit back, less a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel 48 hours or less before your arrival, you will lose your first night's deposit. For Cabins and Motel Rooms: If you cancel any time prior to 7 days before your reservation, you will receive your deposit back, less a $10 cancellation fee. If you can 7 days or less before your reservation, you will forfeit your first night's deposit. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the resort at 509-658-2926.

What time can we check-in or check-out?
For cabins and motel rooms, check-out time is 11:00 a.m. and check-in time is 3:00 p.m.

What's the weather like at the resort right now?

For your convenience, we have a constantly updating weather report at the bottom of most of the pages on our website! If you'd like to look up the weather, the nearest town is Cliffdell.
